Technical Notes

Gentle trail through forest to two beautiful alpine lakes. Talapus Lake is at 3.1 miles; continue another 0.5 miles to Olallie Lake. Great beginner alpine lake hike. Trail can be muddy in spring. Mosquitoes can be fierce in early summer.
