Beautiful subalpine meadow hike. Trail follows the Wonderland Trail to Summerland camp, with optional extension to Panhandle Gap (6,800 ft) for an additional 2 miles and 900 ft gain. Panhandle Gap is the highest point on the Wonderland Trail. Snow on upper trail into July. Marmots are abundant in the meadows. Very popular in summer.
