Scenic hike through Chuckanut forest to a rock dome viewpoint overlooking Samish Bay and the San Juan Islands. Trail is well- maintained. Some muddy sections in winter. The dome itself has exposed cliffs — watch children. One of the best sunset hikes in Whatcom County.
