Technical Notes

Relentless switchbacks gain nearly 4,000 feet through forest to alpine meadows and a spectacular summit. No technical sections but very strenuous. One of the best viewpoints on the Mountain Loop Highway. Avalanche terrain in winter — check NWAC. Snow on trail through July.
