Beautiful alpine lake nestled below the sheer granite walls of Mount Index. A spur trail leads to Bridal Veil Falls at mile 1.5. Main trail has several rocky staircase sections. Very popular — arrive early for parking on weekends. Trail can be muddy in spring.
