Technical Notes

Rugged trail to a stunning alpine basin with remnants of mining operations. Trail follows old mining road then becomes rough with creek crossings and scramble sections. Significant route-finding needed in the upper basin. Not a maintained trail in upper section. Snow lingers into August. Bring gaiters for creek crossings.
