Technical Notes

Long approach via Lena Lake trail then off-trail to the Brothers. Class 3 scrambling on the south ridge with significant exposure. Route-finding skills required above Lena Lake. Snow/ice on upper mountain most of the year. Very long day or overnight. Bring helmet for rockfall sections.

105 mi · 150 min drive

Take the Bainbridge Ferry or drive south on I-5 to Olympia, then US-101 North to Hoodsport. Turn left on Hamma Hamma Road (FR-25). Trailhead is ~8 miles up the road. ~2.5 hours from Seattle (including ferry).
